Cookies and Similar Technologies: When you use the Website, we may send one or more cookies – small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters – to your computer. Cookies help us to operate and improve our services, customize your experience and preferences, allow you to access and use our services without re-entering your email and password and to understand which areas and features of our services are most popular and count visits. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits. Persistent cookies can be removed.
Clear gifs, web beacons, and tracking pixels are tiny graphics with a unique identifier. Please review your web browser "Help" file to learn the proper way to modify your cookie settings. Please note that if you delete, or choose not to accept, cookies from the Services, you may not be able to utilize the features of the Services to their fullest potential. Please note that even if you opt-out, you will still see advertisements. Additionally, many network advertising programs allow you to view and manage the interest categories they have compiled from your online browsing activities. These interest categories help determine the types of targeted advertisements you may receive. For example, the DAA Opt-Out Page provides a tool that identifies its member companies that have cookies on your browser and provides links to those companies.

Your California Privacy Rights
The CCPA provides California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information. Specifically, the CCPA allows you to request us to:
Inform you about the categories of personal information we collect or disclose about you; the categories of sources of such personal information; the business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information; and the categories of third parties with whom we share/disclose personal information.
Provide access to and/or a copy of certain personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.
Delete certain personal information we have about you.
You may have the right to receive information about the financial incentives that we offer to you (if any). You also have the right not to be discriminated against (as provided for in applicable law) for exercising certain of your rights. Certain information may be exempt from such requests under applicable law. For example, we need certain types of information so that we can provide the Services to you. If you ask us to delete it, you may no longer be able to access or use the Services.
Exercising Your Rights
To exercise the rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by completing the webform at our Website page here, or calling us at 877-324-0099. You may need to provide us with information sufficient to verify your identity before we can satisfy your request. If you submit a request using our webform, we will attempt to match the information you submitted with the information we have for you on file. If we receive a request from you via another method, we will email you at the email address we have for you on file. The email will ask you to respond to verify your identity.
You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. To do so, you need to provide us with written authorization or a power of attorney for the agent to act on your behalf. You will still need to verify your identity directly with us.
“Sharing” and “Selling” Information
The CCPA sets forth certain obligations for businesses that “sell” or “share” personal information, as those terms as uniquely defined in the CCPA.
“Sales” of personal information. We do not “sell” personal information as the term “sell” is commonly understood. However, we may disclose certain identifiers (like IP address and email address), internet or other electronic network activity information (like information regarding an individual’s browsing interactions on the Services), and commercial information (like the fact that a browser visited a page directed to people who are considering using the Services) to certain analytics, advertising, and marketing providers in ways that may be considered “sales” under the CCPA. To opt out of such disclosures, click the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our website footer or in our application settings.
“Sharing” personal information. Under the CCPA, “sharing” is defined as the targeting of advertising to a consumer based on that consumer’s personal information obtained from the consumer’s activity across websites. We may “share” information for these purposes to provide more relevant and tailored advertising to you regarding the Services. As part of this advertising, we may “share” certain identifiers (like IP address and email address), internet or other electronic network activity information (like information regarding an individual’s browsing interactions on the Services), and commercial information (like the fact that a browser visited a page directed to people who are considering using the Services) with advertising platforms and advertising networks. This may also include advertising attribution and conversion measurement. To opt out of “sharing” of your personal information, click the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our website footer or in our application settings.
We do not knowingly “sell” or “share” the personal information of children under 16. We will only “sell” or “share” such personal information if we receive express consent to do so from those aged 13 to 16 years of age.
Sensitive Personal Information
The CCPA also allows you to limit the use or disclosure of your “sensitive personal information” (as defined in the CCPA) if your sensitive personal information is used for certain purposes. Please note that we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information other than for purposes for which you cannot opt out under the CCPA.
Data Retention
Please see the “Data Retention” section above.
Notice of Financial Incentive
We may provide certain rewards or incentives for providing your email address or phone number or for referring friends and contacts and may occasionally run sweepstakes and contests where participants may provide personal information in return for a chance to win or compete to win certain prizes. In addition, from time to time, as part of a joint promotion with a third party, we may, if you participate in such a promotion, disclose your contact information to the third party to allow them to market their products or services to you.
You can opt into these incentives, sweepstakes, contests, or promotions by taking the requested action. Your participation is completely voluntary, and you have a right to withdraw from these incentives at any time. If you decide you don’t want to participate in these financial incentives, you can refrain from taking the requested actions.
The specific reward or incentive offered, if any, is made available to you when you provide the information requested or submit a review. The monetary value of the reward or incentive is a reasonable approximation of the monetary value of the information you provide us. We have arrived at this estimate based on consideration of multiple factors, including the following: (1) revenue generated by us in developing insights on our customers; (2) expenses incurred by us in operating the incentives; and (3) our reasonable assessment of revenue we may generate as a result of the referrals or other personal information provided to us by our users.
Shine the Light
California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our Website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please contact us at Privacy@EVgo.com with “Shine the Light Request” in the subject line and in the body of your message. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the “Shine the Light” requirements and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response.
14. Information for Colorado Residents
For disclosures required by the Colorado Privacy Act regarding the categories of personal information, processing purposes, and disclosures, please see the “Information We Collect” subsection in the “Information for California Residents” section above.
15. Information For Nevada Residents
Under Nevada law, certain Nevada consumers may opt out of the sale of “personally identifiable information” for monetary consideration. “Personally identifiable information” includes first and last name, address, email address, phone number, Social Security Number, or an identifier that allows a specific person to be contacted either physically or online.
We do not engage in such activity; however, if you are a Nevada resident who has purchased or leased goods or services from us, you may submit a request to opt out of any potential future sales under Nevada law by emailing support@evgo.com. Please note we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity and the authenticity of the request. Once verified, we will maintain your request in the event our practices change.
