Justin Weil

Justin Weil is Senior Vice President of Deployment at EVgo, leading development engineering, operational excellence, grid integration, and project management, and directing the build-out of the company’s nationwide fast charging network.

Prior to joining EVgo, Mr. Weil held leadership roles at Tesla, overseeing Supercharger deployment across the Southeast U.S., the Caribbean, and South America. During his time at Tesla, he developed strategies that improved efficiency, production, and cost, contributing to sustained year-over-year growth. Before his tenure at Tesla, Mr. Weil spent 16 years in the solar industry with leadership roles at Adroit Energy, SunWater Solar, and Sun Light and Power.

Mr. Weil holds a bachelor’s degree in Investigative Journalism from San Francisco State University, with a minor in International Relations.
