Alex Keros
Senior Vice President, Product
Alex Keros is the Senior Vice President of Product at EVgo and brings his extensive experience in the automotive industry to oversee product and services strategy, including market research and defining product requirements to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Prior to joining EVgo, Mr. Keros spent nearly 18 years at General Motors, commercializing advanced technology and establishing new business models to deploy electric vehicles, fuel cells, shared mobility, and charging infrastructure. These efforts included roles within Research & Development, Public Policy, Connected Services, Product Development and GM Energy.
Mr. Keros has been responsible for numerous novel commercial collaborations to accelerate the development and deployment of charging infrastructure. He is committed to creating a holistic approach to EV infrastructure—addressing reliable access to public charging, integrating mobile applications, establishing smart charging programs, and launching complementary products and services. His passion is creating a thriving, engaged team that ensures a seamless, positive customer experience.
In addition, Mr. Keros has held several advisory and board seats including the Alliance for Transportation Electrification, the Electric Drive Transportation Association, the University of Michigan’s Energy Institute, and the Smart Energy Power Alliance’s Research Advisory Council. He also served as a gubernatorial appointee on Massachusetts’ Zero Emission Vehicle Commission and Maryland’s Electric Vehicle and Infrastructure Council.
Mr. Keros earned a B.S. in Natural Resource Management and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
